Hon. Kapewangolo Aino obtained a Diploma in Theology at the Paulinum Theological Seminary in Otjimbingwe (1970 - 1973).
Hon. Kapewangolo was Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (ELCIN) Theologian Teacher in 1974 to 1991 and was elected as the leader of the ELCIN Women’s League in the Kavango region (1974 - 1980), she was also a South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) Party Mobilizer at Nkurenkuru (1975 - 1980). In 1976 Hon. Kapewangolo was elected as a leader of the ELCIN deoconial work until the year 1979. She became a member of the Lutheran World Federations of Women in Church and Society in 1986 to 1995 and in 1993 she become a member of African Lutheran Women Theologians.
Hon. Kapewangolo was ordained ELCIN Pastor in 1992 to 2014 and a member of ELCIN Eastern Diocese Church Council in 1994 to 2006. In 1998 she become dean of Omuthiya Circuit until 2002, in 2010 she was elected as a SWAPO Section Leader for Toivo Ambambi, John Nakawa Branch in Oniipa for the period of 5 years. 2012 she become an Executive Member of SPEC until 2015 and she became a Special Advisor to the Governor of Oshikoto Region (2014 - 2015);
Hon. Kapewangolo Aino became the first Deputy Minister of the newly created Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, on the dawn of the 21st March 2015.
